Ingvild Bolme/Prima blog hop-Altered Cigar Box

Hey everyone! So, here i am a day light with my post for this amazing hop! Needless to say i have been BUSY! Each month the Ingvild Bolme DT teams up with none other than Prima Marketing to showcase a certain range of Ingvild's amazing line! We had another "free" month! I used lots of Ingvild's amazing products, coupled with yummy Lyric papers ( one of my all time faves). I also cannot get enough of these Odette flowers! Yum! I created lots of layers by rolling up papers on top, and doing some corset lacing. Make sure to check out the Prima Blog post  HERE, my teamies are purely amazingly talented! Woah!

G45 Mother Goose Mixed Media Box

I absolutely LOVE mixed media! I think when a lot of people hear that term , they picture really elaborate colorful pieces. But mixed media can be anything you want it to be! I used tons and tons of mediums on this box, yet it still isn’t very “loud” or “busy”. The beauty of mixed media is just being able to play, get messy, and run with your imagination. I find it incredibly therapeutic to create in this manner! The Mother Goose line has amazing imagery, but still has more subdued patterns like the ones I used on here. So its perfect for any kind of style crafting. I hope you like my box, and are encouraged to create your own mixed media box!
Make sure to check out the Graphic 45 Blog for more info and to check out Nichola's amazing treasure box! Hugs!

"Love Art" Mixed Media Artsy Canvas

Hiya lovely ladies :) Here today with a DT project for Discount Paper Crafts, yet another canvas Lol! What can I say, they are my FAVE thing! Makes me feel like a real "artist" LOL! Anyways I have been digging a bit deeper with my artsy techniques lately. Trying new things and just playing around. This came from a few different sources of inspiration ( I link them on my YT vid ), and also the abundance of cheap paintbrushes I had all dried out and caked with stuff. I HATE to throw away things like that !So might as well make it pretty right? This is an 8x10 canvas, and I used over 50 brushes. I treated each one like its own piece of art and painted the handles, stamped, sprayed, etc. I used my fave new stamp from the Vintage Vanity line! Complete product list at bottom of post :)
